Terms & conditions
Please note that by making a booking with Coastal Glo by Zo and/or paying a security deposit, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. It is the sole responsibility of the client who pays the security deposit to understand, agree and be responsible for adhering to these terms and conditions and making all relevant payments.
Payments
Once a booking date and price have been agreed between the parties, you are required to pay a security deposit which will be deducted from the total cost of the booking and will not be refundable or transferable under any circumstances.
The outstanding balance must be paid two days before your wedding/event date via direct deposit. Funds must have cleared prior to commencing work, otherwise a proof of payment will be required.
Please note that Coastal Glo by Zo does not hold any bookings for clients that have not paid their security deposit.
Cancellations
Cancellations of any bookings by you must be communicated to Coastal Glo by Zo in writing. Upon cancellation, the security deposit will be retained by Coastal Glo by Zo regardless of the amount of notice given.
If less than two weeks’ notice is provided, you will also be required to pay 50% of the agreed price of the booking. This is necessary to cover administration costs and compensate for Coastal Glo by Zo’s inability to service other clients on the date of your booking. Please note that changing the date of your booking will be treated as a cancellation.
Please confirm your numbers and the services you require carefully at the time of your booking. You will be charged the full amount agreed between the parties regardless of whether someone in your wedding party or group booking cancel or are otherwise unavailable.
Of course, if additional people require makeup on the day of your booking, but were not included in the original booking, this is not normally a problem and payment can be made via direct debit with proof of purchase on the booking date. It is recommended to give as much notice as possible if others in attendance require services to avoid disappointment and ensure that appropriate arrangements can be made.
Timing
Coastal Glo by Zo will notify you of her expected arrival time at least one to two weeks prior to the booking. Adhering to booking times is critical to ensure that Coastal Glo by Zo is able to perform her services effectively. Therefore, should unforeseen circumstances arise, the onus is on you to advise as soon as possible. Coastal Glo by Zo is not responsible if your desired completion time is not met due to client/group/wedding party delays.
Refunds
Coastal Glo by Zo does not offer refunds for any completed services. If you are in any way dissatisfied, the onus is on you to notify Coastal Glo by Zo whilst she is on location.
Should you wish to meet Coastal Glo by Zo for a preview of your bridal/event makeup, it is recommended that you request and schedule a trial in order to communicate any concerns regarding your bridal/event makeup.
Health and Safety
Coastal Glo by Zo is not, under any circumstances, responsible for any allergic reactions to products used. The onus is on you to give Coastal Glo by Zo advanced notice if you or any of your group or wedding party have particular hypersensitivity to any makeup or skincare products.
Coastal Glo by Zo does not accept liability for any claims arising out of the misuse, allergic reactions, or any injury suffered as a result of the consenting use of the products and equipment provided by Coastal Glo by Zo. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you release Coastal Glo by Zo from all liability if such a situation should arise.
Coastal Glo by Zo reserves the right, in their absolute discretion, to stop work if any clients display inappropriate/antisocial behavior, contagious viral symptoms, or any other behavior/symptoms that make them feel unsafe or uncomfortable. Client will not receive a refund in this circumstance.
For their own safety, children in attendance of the booking are to be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Coastal Glo by Zo and her assistants accept no liability from any claims arising from any injury sustained by a child while in the service area.
Miscellaneous
Coastal Glo by Zo may in her absolute discretion engage assistants to help her provide services in connection with this agreement.
In the event that Coastal Glo by Zo is not able to attend an appointment to provide makeup services on the scheduled booking date, she may organise for an alternate professional makeup artist to attend the appointment. Coastal Glo by Zo will endeavor to give you as much notice as possible if she is not personally able to attend your appointment.
Damage to or theft of Coastal Glo by Zo’s property caused by any person, (including children), requires on the spot compensation for the full value of the relevant item plus shipping costs.
Coastal Glo by Zo does her best to ensure that the products used at a trial are also used on the day of your booking. However, please be aware that there are situations beyond Coastal Glo by Zo’s control that may prevent this, such as a supplier discontinuing a product or a supplier delay in restocking a product. Coastal Glo by Zo will always aim to replace the product with something similar.
You acknowledge that Coastal Glo by Zo may use any photographs or images taken during your appointment and event on her website, social media or for any other promotional purposes. Client must communicate if uncomfortable with the use of photographs/videos in writing prior to appointment date.
You understand that once you have made a booking and/or paid the security deposit, you are legally bound by these terms and conditions.
